I have to admit I’ve never really paid attention to Aldi beauty. The German supermarket chain isn’t my first port of call for my makeup and skincare needs. Lacura is Aldi’s in house exclusive skincare range. On first glance the line up includes totally recognisable products! However, on further inspection these appear to be dupes for the worlds most loved skincare.
One product which really made me stand up and take note is the newly released Lacura Healthy Glow Exfoliating toner. You’ll be forgiven for thinking this is Pixi Glow Tonic on first glance! It’s even named as the ‘Glycolic Glow Tonic’ on Aldi’s website. I absolutely love Pixi’s Glow Tonic which is essentially a 5% glycolic acid toner which is renowned for gently exfoliating the skin, brightening the complexion and restoring its natural glow.
The Lacura Healthy Glow is just £3.99 compared to Pixi’s at £18. As an avid fan I’d love to save over £14 on Aldi’s version. But is it worth the save? I’ve been trying out the Lacura Healthy Glow Exfoliating Toner and have my thoughts here…
